The Problem
SLR Shoppee's customers are mobile-first — most local shopping happens from a phone, and a responsive website alone couldn't deliver the app-store presence, push-style engagement, and native feel shoppers expect from a commerce platform.
What I Built
Led the conversion of the web storefront into a React Native mobile app, reusing the platform's existing backend and APIs. The app carries the full storefront experience — browsing nearby shops, product search, cart, and ordering — in a native mobile UI.
The Outcome
Brought the SLR Shoppee storefront to mobile as a native app on a single React Native codebase, extending the platform's reach to app-first shoppers without rebuilding the backend.
