GMS Product Catalogue.

Managing large enterprise product catalogs with deep taxonomies and parent/child variants meant slow full re-imports for every change, sluggish listings on big catalogs, and a legacy React/Bootstrap frontend that was hard to extend.

I built a product-delta update system end-to-end (Flask + Neo4j) enabling incremental product/category updates, with an adapter layer keeping the new data model backward-compatible for existing API consumers. I optimized listing performance by splitting query logic, rewriting Cypher for parent/child fetches, and adding pagination; implemented bulk CRUD and variant modeling driven by a rules system with execution offloaded to Celery/Redis background jobs; and integrated the Product Data Warehouse with promote/unpublish/preview workflows and XLS-driven image upload. On the frontend I led adoption of TypeScript + Tailwind into the legacy codebase and built reusable primitives (a useTable hook, shared modal container, status/select components).

Incremental updates replaced full catalog re-imports, large-catalog listings load noticeably faster, and the Feature Connection Management and Catalog Management modules (data import, logs, approval modals, taxonomy-level permissions) shipped on the modernized TypeScript foundation.
